Mideast Communication Systems (MCS), a regional distributor and advisory partner for IT solutions and cybersecurity technologies in Egypt and Africa, announced its new partnership with Baheya Hospital, which specializes in breast cancer awareness, early detection, and treatment. This collaboration aligns with the global celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed each October since 2006. Through this partnership, MCS will support the establishment of a comprehensive sterile instrument’s unit in the intensive care unit at Baheya’s Sheikh Zayed branch.

The announcement was made during a visit organized by MCS, attended by a group of female employees and spouses of staff members at Baheya Hospital. During the visit, early detection screenings were offered to eligible attendees, along with an awareness session on breast cancer risk factors, preventive measures, and the importance of early detection in protecting against breast cancer risks.

Commenting on this partnership, Tarek Shabaka CEO at MCS, expressed his pride in this initiative, stating, “We are proud of the tremendous efforts by Baheya Hospital’s management and staff to deliver exceptional medical services that support and protect Egyptian women’s health. She noted that this support, aimed at creating a sterile instruments unit in the ICU, demonstrates MCS’s strong commitment to Egyptian women’s health.

She further emphasized that this collaboration will significantly contribute to raising awareness and providing essential support to breast cancer warriors.
