MCS Partners with Nokia, Targeting 250 Million EGP in Revenue through New Collaboration
MCS has signed a strategic partnership with Nokia to distribute its products in the Egypt and Africa across various technology services. Tarek Shabaka, the CEO at MCS, stated that this partnership is expected to add approximately 250 million EGP to the company’s sales over the coming years.
During the press conference held to announce the new partnership, Shabaka mentioned that this collaboration will enable MCS to supply Nokia products in the local market and several regional markets indicating that among the targeted markets for expansion in the near future are Morocco and several African markets, particularly since MCS has focused on expanding within the African continent for several years.
This partnership emphasizes that MCS’s operations in the local market are witnessing clear growth rates, especially with a focus on expanding digital transformation products and services across various state sectors, noting the significant increase in the market share of his company’s products in the local market over the past period.
Furthermore, the technology provided by Nokia through this partnership will enable various business sectors to implement diverse layers of mechanization and automation, alongside the cybersecurity solutions that MCS specializes in. The agreement with Nokia highlighted that aligns with MCS’s focus on delivering integrated technology services.
Shabaka added that the partnership will facilitate employee training and the transfer of technological knowledge to the local market, as well as tailor Nokia’s technologies to meet local market needs, thereby adding value to global technologies in line with the priorities of the Egyptian market.
For his part, Mohamed Salama, Head of Network Infrastructure for the Middle East and North Africa, confirmed that the partnership with MCS will provide a benefit to the local market by equipping customers, distributors, and technology providers with diverse Nokia technologies.
